  29. DESCRIPTION
  30.  
  31.      An editor for use with the Formula One Grand Prix or World Circuit
  32.      game (published by MicroProse Software).  It is very easy to use,
  33.      with a standard 2.0 look graphical user interface (even on KS 1.x!)
  34.      and on-line help should you need it.
  35.  
  36.      Allows you to alter most of the in-game setup, including computer
  37.      car performance, car/helmet/pitcrew colours, car fragility and many
  38.      other things (and I MEAN many!).  Sound samples can also be replaced,
  39.      cockpit graphics changed, and lap records and setups printed.
  40.  
  41.      Changes can be saved directly to a copy of the game which is running
  42.      in memory, or to the main file used by the game for a more permanent
  43.      change.
  44.  
  45.      Also incorporated in the main program are a number of memory patches,
  46.      including Toni Wilen's GPPatch and Grant Reeve's PatchF1GP.
  47.  
  48.      F1GP-Ed breathes new life into an ageing, but excellent game.  1994,
  49.      1995, 1996 and 1997 sample datafiles supplied for those who don't
  50.      want to mess about with all the options.
  51.  
  52.      The program itself is auto-enhancing, which means that it will run
  53.      on a basic A500 with KS 1.2, but will make use of KS 2.x or KS 3.x
  54.      specific routines on suitable machines to make itself even better.

  58.      English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Danish, Swedish,
  59.      Finnish, Norwegian, Czech and Greek.

  61. NEW FEATURES

  63.      F1GP-Ed 3.36 is a minor update, with the following new features
  64.  
  65.    o The GPPatch HUD now indicates (with a '>' before the driver name)
  66.      when cars are in the pit lane
  67.    o Greek language now supported
  68.    o Negative values for the sliders in the display window now get
  69.      rendered properly (didn't work with helvetica, at least)
  70.    o Infinite qualifying tyres feature broke in v3.32 - it's now possible
  71.      to turn this cheat off again when saving to the binary
  72.    o Keyboard shortcuts now work for localized MX gadgets (radio buttons)

  77.      published commercially originally by MicroProse Software.

  79.      Approximately 1.5Mb of free ram needed to load the game and the
  80.      editor to be able to use the memory patches.  But, the editor
  81.      itself and most of the features will work on machines with less
  82.      memory.
